2025 PREVIEW
The Royals will bring in a new coaching staff in hopes of energizing the program. New head coach Vito Quaglia has plenty of experience in the coaching ranks, but building the Redeemer program might be his toughest task. It probably will take some time for change to happen.
Brady McDermott got some playing time at quarterback and the sophomore is the favorite to win the job full time this season. Noah Council and Mike DeFrancesco could also compete for the job. There will also be a new tailback with Wildy Rodriguez, Nathan Orlando, Ryan Zelinka, and Josh Kriedler getting consideration for carries. Alex Snyder, Connor Pribula, and Kaden Sepkoski are in the mix for the fullback spot. Josh Grochowski and Mike Zbierski are returning starters with Kevin Arroyo, Lucas Shrader, Kyaire McLean, David Jackiel, and Ryan Zelinka providing depth. Alex Snyder, Connor Pribula, and Kaden Sepkoski are tight end candidates.
The offensive line will be decided in camp with Gabe Schutt, Cole Lisowski, Chase Swoboda, and Xavier Fernandez possible starters at the tackle positions and Amir Zaghoul-Pierce, Kyle Ly, Anthony Falcon, and Anthony Ruzzano competing for the center and guard jobs.
Snyder is a returning starter at defensive end while Sepkoski, Zaghoul-Pierce, Falcon, or Lisowski will be on the other side. Swoboda, Fernandez, Ruzzano, James Chromey, and Gabe Schutt are possibilites inside. The defensive end candidates are also possibilities at outside linebacker. Ly will return at inside backer with Zelinka, Kriedler, Rodriguez, Falcon, and Orlando competing for playing time inside. Kevin Arroyo and Colton Handley are projected to be the cornerbacks with Shrader, Brandon Sage, Josh Grochowski, and Jameson Harris providing depth. Zbierski returns at safety along with McDermott. Council and DeFrancesco will provide depth.
Shrader and Rodriguez will be key special teams players.
