LAKE-LEHMAN 56, HOLY REDEEMER 6

Lake-Lehman rushed for more than 400 yards in a 49-point first half Saturday night on the way to a 56-6 rout of Holy Redeemer in a non-league game played at Wyoming Valley West’s Spartan Stadium.

Jaydon Skipalis led the ground attack, carrying six times for 153 yards, two touchdowns and a two-point conversion. Cordyn Harris added 117 yards and a touchdown.

The Black Knights led 21-0 in the first six minutes and 49-6 at halftime. The second half was played as eight-minute quarters with a running clock.

Skipalis scored on a 44-yard run 25 seconds into the game. Chris Yetter and Devon Albee added the other early touchdowns.

Brady McDermott passed 3 yards to Lucas Shrader for Holy Redeemer, reducing the deficit to 21-6 after one quarter.

Alex Smith, Skipalis, Anthony Magnotta and Harris ran for second-quarter touchdowns.

Jesse Strenfel’s run produced the only touchdown of the second half.

Lake-Lehman (2-3) hosts Nanticoke (0-5) Friday night in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 game. Both teams are 0-1 in the division.

Holy Redeemer (1-4) is at Holy Cross (2-3) Saturday afternoon
