2023 PREVIEW
The Trojans struggled in 2022 and despite the graduation of some quality players, they are optimistic they can produce a winning season this year. They will depend on some younger players to step into important roles, but these are players have talent, just inexperience.
One position where North Pocono is confident is quarterback. Noah West returns for his second year as the starter. Kevin Wickizer will be the new tailback with Zach Gallant taking over at fullback. Riley Moore is a returning starter at wide receiver and there will be competition in camp for the other spot. Evan Wolff will be the new tight end with Ryan Marsh also getting playing time.
The offensive line returns two starters including left tackle Zach Hatala and right guard Mason Richards. Ethan Mensel is expected to take over at right guard, Cole Zimmerman at center and Dylan Caster at right tackle.
Dom Locatelli and Richards will man the defensive end spots while Hatala returns at defensive tackle. Wickizer and Wolff will be the outside linebackers with Gallant and Marsh playing at inside linebacker. Wolff is a returning starter at safety as is Moore at cornerback. The rest of the lineup will be decided in training camp.
Brady Mapes returns as the place kicker with Sam Magnotta the new punter.
