2020 PREVIEW
The Black Knights were known for being a Wing-T offense for many years but reinvented themselves last season with the emergence of quarterback Ethan Adams. Lehman now uses the spread and has a high-flying offense that will make them one of the more dangerous teams in WVC.
Adams threw for 2,221 yards and 21 touchdowns last season. His leading receiver Ryan Eiden will move to tailback, but will still be a valuable member of the passing game. Nick Zaboski will be the fullback and Dan Kutz comes back at tight end. Marshall Woodrosky, Jake Trumbower, Colby Kennedy, Jacob Monko and Dustin Heinrich will be in the mix at wide receiver.
Chase Cole, Damian Concklin, Blasie Napierkowski and Jake Simoson bring experience to the offensive line while Sean Hanley, Damian Napierkowski and Chad Honeywell will be in the mix for the other spot and bring depth to the unit.
The defense is experienced with Conklin, Simoson, Blaise Napierkowski, Hanley, Cole and Honeywell all expected to get time on the defensive line. Kutz and Zaboski return at linebacker while Joe Vegas, Jeremy Scouton and Hayden Klopp are competing for the other two spots. Kennedy and Eiden bring experience to the secondary and will be joined by Woodrosky. Trumbower, Monko and Heinrich will provide depth at defensive back.
