2025 PREVIEW
Back-to-back losing seasons for the Blue Devils is a rarity. The expectation is not only to record a winning record, but to compete for the division and district titles every season. Although not the favorite, Old Forge returns enough players back to make a run at all three goals.
The whole backfield will have to be replaced with Robbie Solfanelli being named the new quarterback. Rylan Gutowski, Dante Gonzalez, and Sean Williams will be in the mix at tailback. Either Joey Dominick, or Carson Honick will be the new fullback. Chris Ramus is a returning starter at wide receiver and will be one of the best playmakers in the LFC. Cameron Calogero, Ayden Aversa, Savion Cupil, and Bobby Pezzuti could also see time at the position. Honick and Enzo Tallo will be candidates to be the new tight end.
The offensive line will be a strength with four starters returning. Jake Lucarelli is back at left tackle, Gavin McNichols at left guard, Noah Michaylo at center, and Will Wozniak at right tackle. Dan Churla, Daunte Marsico, and Dominick Rodriguez are options at right guard. Dodge Broxmeier, Yandel Abreu, and Liam Price will provide depth.
Michaylo and McNichols return at the defensive ends and Lucarelli is back at defensive tackle. Broxmeier, Marsico, Price and Rodriguez could be in the rotation inside. Abreu and Churla will also provide depth at end. Dominick is back at outside linebacker and Wozniak and Rasmus return at inside linebacker. Gutowski, Cistola, Gonzalez, Honick, Tallo and Luke Aulisio will be backups at linebacker. Pezzuti will be at one corner and either Monty Fausnaught, Jahaziel Vale, Aversa, Williams, and Divyam Patel will compete for the other spot. Cupil, Elio Castaldi, Calogero, Jensen Papyono, and Joniel DeJesus are candidates to play safety.
Cistola will handle placekicking and punting duties. Tallo could also be in the mix. Michaylo will be the long snapper with several candidates as the holder.
