2020 PREVIEW
The Wildcats have been very competitive under head coach Randy Wolff. This might be his biggest challenge to date as he tries to replace 22 seniors. However, the cupboard isn’t totally bare.
The offense will revolve around all-division running back Zane Janiszewski. His fullback Adam Silfies also returns. The new quarterback will be Caden Brungard who will have all new weapons to throw to in 2020. The wide receivers will be Tim Smith and Jaiden DeRosa. New tight end Thomas Chernasky will be a big target in the passing game.
The biggest challenge for the offense will be rebuilding the offensive line. Only Julian Walck and Kyle Guarino have experience while Tom Flood and Anthony Trutt will fill some of the other vacant spots.
Walck is the only returning starter on the defensive line. Guarino will also play up front while there will be competition for the other spot. Silfies and Janiszewski are returning starters at linebacker. Brungard is the lone returning starter in the secondary while J.J. Murphy, DeRosa and Smith will round out that unit.
