2025 PREVIEW
The Tigers have taken some lumps the last couple seasons but are confident they are ready to take the next step to being a competitive program. The offense is experienced and the defense has some playmakers. Both units have enough to make a run to compete with the upper echelon of the division.
Zach Latwinski is back at quarterback after an impressive 2024 season. Louis Ciprich or Moses Montero will take over at tailback. Cayden Simmers returns at fullback. Andrew Lupinski and Colin Gregory are returning starters at wide receiver. Either Landon Bolcavage or Randall Paxton will be the new tight end.
The offensive line is experienced with four starters returning. Cooper Thomas is back at left tackle, Adyn Anderson at center, Jayden Thomas at right guard, and Ian Burke at right tackle. Owyn Rose will round out the unit at left guard.
Anderson and Burke return at the defensive end spots. Cooper Thomas and Burke are back at defensive tackle with Jacob Patton and Rose in the rotation up front. Simmers and Jayden Thomas are experienced at the inside linebacker spots while Bolcavage, Paxton and Montero will compete for outside linebacker. The secondary is the least experienced unit with Gregory, Carter O’Neill and Brandon Carter competing for the cornerback spots while Lupinski will be the safety.
Callum Jerome returns to handle the kicking duties while Lupinski will be the primary return man.
