2020 PREVIEW

It was a smooth transition from Hall of Fame head coach Jack Henzes to one of his lieutenants in Kevin McHale. The Bucks won another district title and qualified for the state playoffs like they have been doing for about a decade. They will have some holes to fill, but bring back enough to still be the favorite in the district and will challenge for the LFC Division 3 title again.

Quarterback will be a key question as Dunmore loses a two-year starter and will turn to freshman Thomas Bowen with Liam Crolley also getting consideration. Running back Cristian Buckley is one of the top returning tailbacks in the LFC and will have fullback Karl Kincel back leading the way in the vaunted Bucks running game. Dylan Aquino will be the top receiver while Dom Temperino returns as the starter at tight end with Michale Burke backing him up.

The Bucks offensive line is the cornerstone of the program and returns starter Mason Maciejewski and Austin Brislin. Dave Aronica, Connor Blume and Jake Cicerini are the newcomers up front.

Dunmore will be strong up front with three returning starters – Connor Blume, Brislin and Temperino. Burke, Maciejewski and Cicerini are all in the mix to see time on the defensive line. Joe Marzzacco and Kincel will be the key players at linebacker while Buckley and David Reilly are returning starters in the secondary.  Kerian Reyes, Kam Reyes and Aquino will fill the other spots.

Peyton Badyrka is one of the best returning kickers in area.
