Shawn Theodore’s 2-yard run capped a 98-yard, second-half drive and lifted Abington Heights to a 20-14 victory over visiting Delaware Valley in Saturday afternoon’s District 2 Class 5A Championship Game.

VALLEY VIEW 41, DALLAS 14
Zach Cwalinski rushed for 147 yards and four touchdowns and Valley View outscored Dallas 35-0 in the 4th quarter for a Cougars 41-14 win over the Mountaineers. Valley View wins the District 2 Class 4A Championship, the fifth district title in school history.

RIVERSIDE 24, DUNMORE 6
Senior quarterback Chase Taddonio saved one of his most scintillating performances for perhaps his biggest moment as a Riverside Viking, scoring three touchdown and leading the Vikings to a 24-6 conquest of defending champion Dunmore. The Bucks began and ended their season on the very same field, losing to Riverside 16-3 in their Week 1 encounter.

Lidge Kellum ran for five touchdowns Friday night, but Wyoming Area still needed more to get past Western Wayne and into the District 2 Class 3A championship game.

On a windy November night in Dunmore, Scranton Prep completed its bid to return to the Class 3A title game by defeating Mid Valley 40-21 in a rematch of a contest from earlier in the season.

LACKAWANNA TRAIL 42, TRI-VALLEY 0
After a scoreless first quarter, Lackawanna Trail exploded for 42 unanswered points and demolished Tri-Valley from District 11 to win the subregional in Class A. The Wildcats moved to 11-1 and will host District 4 champion Muncy next week.

Samir Williams returned a fourth-quarter interception 59 yards for a touchdown and Williamsport turned away three second-half threats by host Wilkes-Barre Area Friday night as the Millionaires shut out the Wolfpack, 14-0, for the District 2-4 Class 6A Subregional title.
