Every week, we will highlight some of the best linemen from the WVC and LFC presented by Honesdale National Bank. Here is Week 3:
BRADY COOK, Crestwood
Cook is the veteran on the Comets’ lines and his leadership is invaluable. He had a monster game last Friday helping Crestwood rush for 389 yards and five touchdowns. Cook shows great technique and the coaching staff loves his versatility and dedication to his teammates.
THOMAS FAZIO, Dunmore
The defense has come up big the last two weeks for the Bucks allowing only seven points. Fazio has been right in the middle of it. The senior had three tackles including a sack and also recovered a fumble in Dunmore’s win over Susquehanna.
COLE HASTINGS, Lakeland
Hastings is just one of the Chiefs’ linemen to step up his game in 2025. Lakeland racked up 497 yards of offense in their win over Riverside. Hastings stood out with some key blocks in key moments. He has gotten better every game and the Chiefs expect the junior to be a big-time blocker this season.
DYLAN MACEYKO, Mid Valley
Maceyko is a veteran for the Spartans up front and was dominant in Mid Valley’s win over Old Forge. The junior is literally a huge presence on both sides of the ball at 6-4, 310 pounds. He is a powerful run blocker and a run stopper that makes him one of the better two-way linemen in the LFC.
THOMAS REESE, Abington Heights
Reese is another one who does the dirty work inside on defense and has become a power blocker on offense. He helped the Comets outrush Dallas, 254-33, and also had every lineman’s dream scoring on 22-yard pick six. Abington Heights had to replace all of their offensive linemen from last year and Reese has stood out as one of the players who has had success so far this season.
