The Skinny: Game of the Year in the WVC as this one will likely decide the division. Wyoming Area are the kings and Berwick is trying to knock them off the hill. The Warriors will have to find a way to slow down RB Ty’Meere Wilkerson. In this game last season, they held him to 85 yards which was his season-low as a starter. The Bulldogs will be looking for more offensive options. Wyoming Area’s offense isn’t dominated by one player and that could be an advantage for them. Biggest game at Crispin Field in several seasons.

The Skinny: Dallas seems to always be in close games and they hope they can do that this week on the road. The Trojans are coming off an emotional league win, but have to be careful not to have a letdown. The Mountaineers offense has been the Geskey Brothers Show while North Pocono has several players that can hurt you. This could be a preview of a district playoff game down the road.

The Skinny: Another game that can possibly decide the division, the Chiefs are also trying for a sweep of their Class 2A rivals. The Bucks are looking for a signature win as they have struggled to find them against better competition. Lakeland loves the throw the ball so keep an eye on the Dunmore secondary. If they can limit the big plays, the Bucks can get the win at home.

The Skinny: Pittston Area had an emotional win last week and also has to avoid a letdown. It’s not easy to go to Mountain Top and this will be a challange for the Patriots to keep focus and maintain their spot on top of the division standings. The Comets always have a chance with QB Jaden Shedlock on the field. The biggest question is can the Crestwood defense step up and slow down Pittston’s high-powered offense.

The Skinny: Word on the street is the Comets could be without QB Nick Bradley. If that’s the case, Abington will have to rely on the offensive line and the running game to move the ball. Delaware Valley’s defense has been shaky and if they want to get back on top, they are going to have to play better. The Warriors offense continues to put up points and now they have to do it against a defense that has been very good in the first half of the season.

The Skinny: The Holy Roller Bowl is here again and the Royals are hoping to make it more of game having stopped their losing streak a couple weeks ago. The Crusaders rolled up over 400 yards rushing and scored 55 points in their win last Saturday. Redeemer’s defense is going to have to find a way to slow down that running game if they want to stay in the game.

The Skinny: This should be a fun game as both offenses have shown the ability to score. So that’s a reason to keep an eye on the defenses. Whoever can make more plays on that side of the ball should get a victory. Hanover Area has been balanced this year on offense while Tunkhannock has won their games by grinding it out on the ground.

The Skinny: The Annual Shrine Bowl always brings out a big crowd in Wayne County. Both these teams have struggled in 2025. Honesdale is on a four-game losing streak. The Wildcats do have two wins, but those opponents are a combined 0-10. Two good running backs Western Wayne Quinn Swartz and Hornets’ Gabe Duda.

The Skinny: The Cougars offense has struggled and that was before QB Freddy Corrado went down with an injury. The young roster will continue to grow, but it jsut hasn’t played well enough to win many games. Wilkes-Barre remembers last year’s game against Hazleton where they were shut out. Don’t expect that this week as the Wolfpack know they still have a chance to win the division if they can run the table.

The Skinny: The Scranton offense has been lost without star RB Reece Whitman and they will need to find other ways to score against a Valley View defense that has been pretty good this year. The Cougars are trying to stay alive for the division and cannot look ahead to two big game the next two weeks. The young offense has imrpoved throughout the first half of the season.

The Skinny: Scranton Prep’s offense is rolling and the rest of LFC Division I have taken notice. In two weeks, nobody has been able to slow down QB Will McPartland. The Buckhorns have run the ball very well this season and had an 18-play, 11 minute drive last week in the first quarter. They will need a couple of those to stay with the red-hot Cavaliers.
