Every week, we will highlight some of the best special teams performances from the WVC and LFC presented by Northeast Industries. Here is Week 6:
TYLER BIANCHI, Scranton Prep
Bianchi was a late addition to the roster coming over from the Cavaliers soccer team, but he looks like a seasoned pro. His kickoffs have been deep and he has been reliable kicking extra points for the high-scoring Prep offense. This past Friday, he was a perfect 6 for 6 in extra points.
NICK CIAMPI, Wyoming Area
The Warriors score points and Ciampi has been a nice addition in his first season as the primary kicker. Last week against Berwick, he was a perfect 6 for 6 in extra points. Ciampi just isn’t a kicker. He actually has four carries for 33 yards and a touchdown for Wyoming Area.
ZACH SCHULTZ, Holy Redeemer
It has been a rough season so far for the Royals, but the kicking game is good shape. Schultz hasn’t had many opportunties because the offense has struggled to move the ball, but this past week, he kicked a 31-yard field goal and made his only extra point attempt.
