Every week, we will highlight some of the best special teams performances from the WVC and LFC presented by Northeast Industries. Here is Week 1:
RYAN BIANCHI, Lakeland
Bianchi has already proven to be a reliable kicker, but this year the Chiefs think they have a vauable weapon. Bianchi kicked two field goals on Friday including a 39-yarder that was the longest of Week 1.
HAYDEN MUNDRAKE, Western Wayne
Right off the bat, the Wildcats special teams made a big play in the win over Susquehanna. Hayden Mundrake blocked a punt and Vinny Baldini recovered and ran it into the end zone for the first touchdown of the season for Western Wayne.
ISIAH RODRIGUEZ, Old Forge
When you play in close games, every point matters and that was the case for Old Forge on Friday. Isiah Rodriguez went 4 for 4 in extra points including the game-winner in a 28-27 win for the Blue Devils over West Scranton.
