Every week, we will highlight some of the best special teams performances from the WVC and LFC presented by Figliomeni Pharmacy Care. Here is Week 2:

GANNON DECKER, Wallenpaupack
Decker hit two 34-yard field goals in the first half against Hazleton, the Buckhorns only points in the first two quarters. This kept Paupack in the game and the offense got in gear later in the game. He also made his only two extra point attempts in that second half including the game-tying PAT.

SEAN DWYER, Lackawanna Trail
Dwyer is another weapon for the Lions who have high expectations this season. He had a touchdown run in the 3rd quarter and then an 82-yard kickoff return to cap the scoring for Trail as they open up the season 2-0.

BRADY MAPES, North Pocono
In a close and defensive game, every point counts. And Mapes made the most of his opportunities. With North Pocono down 2 in the 4th quarter, he had a chance to put the Trojans ahead with just over 8 minutes remaining and he nailed the 25-yard field goal. It was the last score of the game and the game-winner.

Honorable Mention: Daniel Pigga, Dunmore – 79-yd kickoff return TD; PK Liam Burke, Wyoming Area – 5 for 5 XP; Jaydon Skipalis, Hanover Area – 76-yd kickoff return TD
