Every week, we will highlight some of the best linemen from the WVC and LFC presented by Honesdale National Bank. Here is Week 4:

LUCAS EVANS, Lackawanna Trail
With two linemen unavailable because of injury, Evans stepped into the lineup and made an immediate impact. The sophomore played both right offensive tackle and defensive tackle. He did a great job helping the Lions control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

JACOB KRULICK, Wyoming Area
Krulick has taken over at center this season and helped lead one of best offenses in the WVC. His run blocking has been impressive as the Warriors offense had 261 total yards and 5 TDs in a win over Nanticoke.

BRANDON LEZINSKI, Abington Heights
Lezinski has excelled so far in 2023 especially in his pass protection. He was also called over to play on the other side of the ball because of an injury and helped limit Western Wayne’s running game on Saturday.

AMBROSE ROSSI, Scranton Prep
Rossi has been giving opposing teams fits on both sides of the football. On defense, he is causing chaos and demand double teams while on offense he has helped Prep score the most points in the district.

COLLIN SMITH, Pittston Area
Despite being undersized, Smith has already become a leader on the Patriots offensive line. This past Friday, he allowed zero sacks or quarterback hurries in Pittston’s win over Hanover.
