This is the 12th edition of our Five To Watch series. We thank Attorney Michael Ossont of the The Mattioli Law Firm for returning as our title sponsor for Five To Watch. There are 33 teams in the WVC and LFC so it’s impossible to recognize every single player who might be deserving. The players we do list are some of the best at their position or have an interesting role coming up in 2023 for their team. For players who don’t make the list, we hope you strive to make our lists at the end of the season because they are the ones that really count.

Here are the specialists:

Rowan Laubach, Sr. – Dallas
Height: 5-6 Weight 130

Like many kickers in the area, Laubach plays soccer. That strong leg can be an asset when kicking in football. The Mountaineers had been in good shape with their kicking game the past several seasons and now Laubach steps into the role of place kicker. He was the Dallas punter last season and will continue in that role. Laubach was a WVC Division I First Team punter.

Logan Olsommer, Jr. – Delaware Valley
Height: 6-0 Weight 156

Olsommer is a three-sport athlete who also plays quarterback for the Warriors. The athleticism is there to play many roles for Delaware Valley. He returns as one of the best punters in the LFC as well. Olsommer will have a major impact on the 2023 team with special teams being one aspect of his games. He was named an LFC Division I Second Team punter in 2022.
