Every week, we will highlight some of the best special teams performances from the WVC and LFC presented by Figliomeni Pharmacy Care. Here is Week 9:

LAYNE FISK, Susquehanna
When Fisk isn’t playing offense or defense, he is kicking for Susquehanna. This past Saturday, he went 7 for 7 in extra points in the Sabers win over Carbondale. He also had three touchbacks on kickoffs.

JAYDEN RAMIREZ, Delaware Valley
The speedy receiver showed off that explosion to start the second half as he returned the kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown to break a tie game with Scranton. The Warriors never trailed after that and have won four straight games.

The rivalry between Old Forge and Riverside is intense enough, but for the first time in the long history of this series, it came down to a last-minute field goal. Rodriguez delivered with the 26-yard game-winner. Also, we must mention holder Matthew Lenceski (who is actually the backup holder) for getting the high snap placed down for Rodriguez to boot the kick.

Honorable Mention: Logan Rolles, Crestwood – 8 for 8 extra points; KR William Marcy, Susquehanna – 79-yd kickoff return TD; LB A.J. Kucharski, Valley View – 2 blocked punts
