Here are the rankings after Week  10 presented by Gaughan Auto Store:

BIG SCHOOL

  1. Valley View Cougars (9-1), lost to Scranton Prep 17-10 (Last week: 1)
    A tough loss to the other No. 1 team ruins the perfect regular season, but the Cougars are still the No. 1 seed and favorite in Class 4A. They will get a rematch of a regular season game in the quarterfinals.
    Next up: vs. Crestwood (3-7) (First meeting: VV 38-7) (Listen on NPF)
  2. Delaware Valley Warriors (7-3), defeated North Pocono 12-6 (Last week: 3)
    The Warriors defend their division title and win their seventh straight. The defense and the weather held North Pocono without a touchdown. No. 1 seed in Class 6A and a rematch in the semifinals from the regular season.
    Next up: vs. Scranton (4-6) (First meeting: DV 35-0) (Listen on WYNY)
  3. North Pocono Trojans (8-2), lost to Delaware Valley 12-6 (Last week: 2)
    The defense was strong, but the offense sputtered with the weather and the Warriors defense. They still earned a N0. 3 seed in Class 4A which will be a home game and a regular season rematch.
    Next up: vs. Honesdale (4-6) (First Meeting: NP 46-21)
  4. Hazleton Area Cougars (7-3), defeated Williamsport 14-11 (Last week: 4)
    Hazleton continues to roll and they add a WVC Class 5A/6A title to their trophy case. They get a home game in the Class 6A semifinal and a rematch from the regular season.
    Next up: vs. Wilkes-Barre (4-6) (First Meeting: HAZ 29-10)
  5. Dallas Mountaineers (7-2), defeated Tunkhannock 35-0 (Last week: 5)
    Dallas has been red-hot and they earn a home game in the quarterfinal round of Class 4A and also the semifinal if they win Friday. They also get a rematch from the regular season.
    Next up: vs. Pittston Area (3-7) (First Meeting: DAL 28-6)
  6. Berwick Bulldogs (6-4), defeated Wilkes-Barre 28-7 (Last week: 6)
    Berwick clinches a winning season and a home game in the quarterfinals of Class 4A. They will face a team they haven’t played in 20 years.

SMALL SCHOOL

  1. Scranton Prep Cavaliers (10-0), defeated Valley View 17-10 (Last week: 1)
    Scranton Prep earns the No. 1 seed, a division title and break their three-game losing streak to Valley View. It wasn’t easy as London Montgomery had to carry the ball 42 times. Cavaliers will have a bye in the Class 3A quarterfinals as three teams decided not to play them.

  2. Wyoming Area Warriors (9-1), defeated Pittston Area 42-13 (Last week: 2)
    Warriors flex their muscles in their rivalry game, but have to settle for the No. 2 seed in Class 3A. Will have a home game Friday and another one in semifinals if they are victorious.
    Next up: vs. Carbondale Area (5-5) (Watch on WAFA)
  3. Old Forge Blue Devils (9-0), defeated Lackawanna Trail 35-0 (Last week: 3)
    The Devils win LFC Division IV to complete the perfect regular season. Old Forge will now get a week off as Holy Cross opted out of the playoffs. Next up will be a team from District 1 in a subregional.

  4. Lakeland Chiefs (9-1), defeated Dunmore 21-17 (Last week: 4)
    Close wins seem to be the Chiefs M.O. this season. It took a late stop to secure their ninth win of the season and now will get a home game in the Class 3A Quarterfinals. They will face a familiar foe on Friday.
    Next up: vs. Lake-Lehman (4-5) (First Meeting: LAKE  41-12)
  5. Mid Valley Spartans (8-2), defeated Carbondale Area 47-20 (Last week: 5)
    The Spartans finish a strong season with a nice performance and will get a home game in the quarterfinals of the Class 3A playoffs.
    Next up: vs. Western Wayne (4-6)
  6. Lackawanna Trail Lions (6-3), lost to Old Forge 35-0 (Last week: 6)
    It was a tough loss against one of the best small schools in the state, but Trail will be back at Tunnel Hill on Friday for the Class 2A semifinal for a rematch from Week 3.
