Every week, we will highlight some of the best special teams performances from the WVC and LFC presented by Figliomeni Pharmacy Care. Here is Week 7:

COLIN BAILER, Carbondale Area
In the first football game he has played on any level, Bailer kicked a 36-yard field goal and was 7 for 7 extra points to help the Chargers win their third game of the season. To top things off, he had a tackle on the kickoff. That’s some debut.

ANDREW BARTNIKOWSKI, Old Forge
A hidden hero for the Blue Devils, Bartnikowski was a special teams ace this past Friday. He blocked a punt and he also had a fumble recovery on the kickoff as Old Forge remained unbeaten on the season with a win over rival Riverside.

ROMAN LEVANT, Wallenpaupack
Levant could probably be on this list every week. He is considered one of the best kickers in the ‘country’, not just the area. Every kickoff against Valley View was a touchback and he also punted well. But the topper this week was a 45-yard field goal that would have been good from 55.

Honorable Mention: PK Matt Cole, Valley View – 5 extra points, 29-yd Field Goal; P Will Kittrell, Holy Cross – 45-yd punt average; P Cam Riccardo, Mid Valley 46-yd punt average
