Every week, we will highlight some of the best linemen from the WVC and LFC presented by Brucelli Advertising. Here is Week 4:

The Comets got the running game going behind an offensive line that expected to dominate. One of the new members up front at tight end is Bibla. He had 5 pancake blocks to help Crestwood rush for over 300 yards in a win over Western Wayne.

Crews has been a steady presence on both sides of the ball for the Millionaires. He had a team-high 9 tackles in the win over previously unbeaten Central Mountain in overtime. He also had key blocks on big plays as Williamsport won it’s third game of the season.

The Hornets defense was smothering against Riverside and Gombita was in the middle of it all. The senior had 4 tackles, forced a fumble and recovered it and picked off a pass and returned it 30 yards for a touchdown. Pretty much a linemen’s hat trick.

ETHAN SPEECE, Wyoming Area
The Warriors almost pulled off the biggest upset in the state this season and the guys up front were a big reason why. Speece had 4 pancake blocks and helped the offense accumulate 352 total yards, score 30 points, and record zero sacks vs Southern Columbia. Defensively, he also had 3 tackles.

GABE TIDRIDGE, Delaware Valley
One of the top defensive players returning this season for the Warriors, Tidridge recorded a sack against Wilkes-Barre and offensively led DV at center to a season-high 49 points and 471 total yards.
