QB Javant McClary left last week’s game but the ‘Pack doesn’t lose much with Mehki Nelson behind center. Mounts passing game was very efficient last Friday but running the ball is still a challenge.

Warriors have seemed to get their act together in the second half against two ranked opponents but too late. Schedule has been brutal for Delaware Valley for the first three weeks.

The Skinny: Vikings went through on a roller coaster last week gaining forfeit win, but then rescheduling two games only to have those cancelled because of COVID. Riverside resumed practice on Wednesday and the game was moved to Saturday to give them an extra day. Lions played tough last week, but couldn’t muster enough offense against Lakeland.

The Skinny: This was an offensive battle last season, but the Comets have struggled to find that success in 2021. If they are going to earn their first win, the defense will have to stop the Tigers spread offense. Tunkhannock has weapons on offense including QB Ben Chilson.

The Skinny: The Spartans jumped on the Cobb Train, as in sophomore running back Isaiah Cobb. He carried the ball 53 times in the heartbreaking loss to Dallas. Pittston is very young and inexperienced and will struggle, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Hanover had a dramatic come-from-behind win on the road last week while Holy Cross saw it’s one-game winning streak broken after breaking a long losing streak the week before. Crusaders ran out of gas in second half while the Hawks passing game thrived in Week 2.

This game was supposed to be Montrose home game, but moved to Throop because of renovations at Memorial Field in Montrose.

This will be a big challenge for the Wildcats who have been impressive on both sides of the ball through two weeks. Western Wayne will be seeing red for sure as the Mavericks unveil their new stadium which has red turf.
