Here are the rankings afte Week 6 presented by Golden Dome Abstract:

  1. Delaware Valley Warriors (2-1), defeated Scranton 42-14 (Last week: 1)
After a shaky second game, the Warriors looked like the team a lot of people were talking about after the loss to LaSalle. DV is on track for a post-season berth.
Next up: vs. North Pocono (2-1)
  2. Williamsport Millionaires (5-1), lost to Harrisburg 41-0 (Last week: 2)
Millionaires ran into a buzzsaw in state-ranked Harrisburg. However, they are still on track to win WVC Division 1. Will be challenged with two winning teams still on schedule.
    Next up: vs. Dallas (3-2)
  3. Crestwood Comets (5-0), Idle (Last week: 3)
The Comets got to rest up, but the schedule now heats up with two programs that have been WVC juggernauts. Crestwood is in a good position but two hiccups could cost them.
Next up: at Berwick (1-3) (Listen on NPF)
  4. Valley View Cougars (2-1), defeated West Scranton 55-0(Last week: 4)
The defense for Valley View has held two opponents to negative yards combined. The schedule gets harder now, but the Cougars look like a force again.
Next up: at Western Wayne (2-1) (Watch on NPF)
  5. Hazleton Area Cougars (4-2), defeated Dallas 37-12 (Last week: 5)
Another statement win for the Cougars on the road. A win this week would give Hazleton a shot at the division title in the season finale.
Next up: vs Wyoming Valley West (2-3)
  6. Dallas Mountaineers (3-2), lost to Hazleton Area 37-12 (Last week: 6)
The last three games have exposed the Mounts a little bit for the inexperience we thought might be there after the state title run. Won’t get any easier the last two weeks.
    Next up: at Williamsport (5-1)

  1. Scranton Prep Cavaliers (3-0), defeated Mid Valley 44-14 (Last week: 1)
The Cavs keep taking care of business winning by an average of over 30 points per game. After this week, the showdown with Valley View could determine the league title and Prep’s playoff fate.
Next up: at West Scranton (0-3)
  2. Lake-Lehman Black Knights (6-0), defeated Wyoming Area 47-26 (Last week: 2)
The post-season is still not a sure thing in Class 3A, but the Black Knights are definitely deserving. Winning out should get it done, but the division title could also be decided Week 8 if things fall right.
Next up: vs. Tunkhannock (2-3) (Watch on NPF)
  3. Lakeland Chiefs (3-0), defeated Riverside 55-25 (Last week: 3)
The Chiefs didn’t have to use the last play to win this week, but did show an offensive explosion through the air and on the ground. Another dangerous 3A team
Next up: vs. Dunmore (2-1) (Watch on NPF)
  4. Old Forge Blue Devils (3-0), defeated Susquehanna 47-6 (Last week: 4)
The warm-up to the season finale continues. It will be for the division title, but won’t affect Old Forge’s postseason. They are already District 2 champs and are matched up with District 1 Bristol in state playoffs.
Next up: at Montrose (1-1) (Watch on NPF)
  5. Wyoming Area Warriors (3-3), lost to Lake-Lehman 47-26 (Last week: 5)
The Warriors have lost to three teams who have a combined 16-1 record. The tough schedule will keep them out of the post-season but they are formidable opponent each week.
Next up: at Nanticoke (1-5) (Watch on NPF)
  6. Western Wayne (2-1),  defeated Honesdale 28-14 (Last week: NR)
The Wildcats have gotten on the Zane Train and it has proven to be very hard to stop. Three straight 100+ rushing yard games. Can he make it four against the best defense statisically in the LFC?
Next up: vs. Valley View (2-0) (Watch on NPF)
