BIG SCHOOL

  1. Valley View (12-0) – Cougars are last unbeaten and will have a rematch with Dallas. This was the 2011 Class 3A title game as well. Last Week: 1, Next Game: vs. Dallas (11-1)
  2. Dallas (11-1) – A defensive classic puts the Mounts in the title. Many thought it wouldn’t be until 2019. Last Week: 2, Next Game: at Valley View (12-0)
  3. Wallenpaupack (9-3) – Buckhorns take out the best teams in District 11. Will play in PIAA playoffs for first time.  Last Week: 4, Next Game: vs. Hollidaysburg (8-4)
  4. Delaware Valley (9-3) – Warriors are on a seven game winning streak and have another District 2 title in their pocket. Last Week: 5, Next Game: vs. State College (11-1).
  5. Berwick (9-3) –  Bulldogs offense seemed to disappear late in the season. Couldn’t muster enough to make it their third straight district title game. Last Week: 3, Next Game: Season Complete
  6. Hazleton Area (6-6) –  Cougars will have to settle being the third best team in the WVC.  Last Week: 6, Next Game: Season Complete

SMALL SCHOOL

  1. Scranton Prep (11-1) – Prep will play a familiar foe in the district title game. Defense has been strong the past couple weeks. Last Week: 1, Next Game: vs. Lakeland (9-3)
  2. Lakeland (9-3) – Chiefs win late on the road. Get another shot at the Cavaliers.  Last Week: 3, Next Game: at Scranton Prep (9-3) 
  3. Dunmore (9-3) – The Bucks win another district title and are back in the PIAA tournament again.   Last Week: 4, Next Game: vs. West Catholic (10-2)
  4. Wyoming Area (11-1) – Warriors were the class of the WVC but the LFC ends their season. Last Week: 2, Next Game: Season Complete
  5. Lackawanna Trail (11-1) – Lions win the subregional easily and now are on the Road To Hershey.  Last Week: 6, Next Game: vs. Tri-Valley (9-3)
  6. Western Wayne (6-6) – Wildcats with another strong season against a tough schedule Last Week: 5, Next Game: Season Complete
