Dunmore also used Boland as a kicker his senior year and he scored 32 points.

Boland was named first-team All-State defensive lineman by the Pennsylvania Sports Writers, Pennsylvania Football News and EasternPaFootball.com. Former Dunmore coach Jack Henzes on Boland: “Mike Boland was an excellent student athlete and he had outstanding speed and quickness which enable him to recognize plays very quickly. Michael was an explosive player for his size.”
