Old Forge coach Mike Schuback on Schuback: “As his coach, Shane displayed many attributes. His love for the game can’t be questioned. Shane was a unselfish, loyal & devoted teammate. Leading by example, he practiced like he played, with passion, excitement and all-out effort. Always willing to be coached no matter the situation made him a humble leader. He wanted to dominate his opponent(s) no matter if it was a drill in practice or a championship game. With hard work, sacrifice & a outstanding football IQ, Shane has collected countless football and personal awards. He is hands down one of the most versatile players we ever had who played at Old Forge. Being his father and Coach, I had the best seat in the house. I’m very proud of him! Coaching my son was the greatest part of my coaching career. My memories are countless and special. ”
