NAME: Dylan Kelly
SCHOOL: Delaware Valley
LAST SEASON: 2017
POSITIONS: DB/WR

Delaware Valley has had a lot of success during the decade and a lot players don’t see the field as a starter until their senior season because of the size of the roster and competitiveness to win jobs. So, Dylan Kelly being a four-year starter at defensive back is an amazing accomplishment. Kelly had 151 tackles and 17 interceptions for his career, including 10 his senior season. He also had a major impact on the offensive side of the ball where he was a three-year starter and amassed 100 career receptions for 1,614 yards and 18 receiving touchdowns. Kelly also rushed for 237 yards his last two seasons. The Warriors won 38 games during his tenure.

Kelly was an NPF Lackawanna Football Conference Division I first-team defensive back for three seasons and first-team wide receiver his junior and senior seasons. He was 2017 NPF Lackawanna Football Conference Division I Defense Player of the Year and an NPF All-District 2 wide receiver. Kelly was named an all-state defensive back by the Pennsylvania Football Writers and a first-team all-state defensive back by the Pennsylvania Football News. He was also named a first-team defensive back by EasternPAFootball.com. Kelly played in the Lions Club Dream Game and was a member of the WNEP Dream Team.

Delaware Valley coach Keith Olsommer on Kelly: “Dylan was the best lockdown corner in the history of Delaware Valley football. Had more interceptions than completions against his senior year. He also was a major weapon on offense making him a complete player.”
