The most successful Crestwood team had many different contributors that helped the team achieve that success. Frank Aigeldinger was the biggest contributor of all of them. Aigeldinger was a four-year starter, two-time captain and led the Comets to the 2014 district championship. He rushed for a school-record 2,144 yards and 25 touchdowns his senior season. For his career, he holds the school record for rushing yards with 4,499 yards and 52 touchdowns. Aigeldinger also was a standout linebacker compiling 125 career tackles.
Aigeldinger was a 2014 NPF Wyoming Valley Conference Big School first-team running back and linebacker and was named Offense Player of the Year. He was also name District 2 Offense Player of the Year. Aigeldinger was named an all-state running back by the Pennsylvania Football Writers and second-team all-state running back by the Pennsylvania Football News in 2014. He was also named a first-team linebacker by EasternPaFootball.com. Aigeldinger was a member of the WNEP Dream Team and continued his football career at Division II Bloomsburg University.
