BERWICK 63, WILLIAMSPORT 16

Berwick continued its unbeaten run Friday night at Crispin Field, rolling past Williamsport, 63–19, behind a record-setting performance from Ty’Meere Wilkerson. The senior running back rushed for 390 yards and five touchdowns, breaking the school’s single-game record as the Bulldogs improved to 8-0.

Berwick’s offense struck early, as Wilkerson’s 47-yard run opened the scoring less than two minutes into the game. The Bulldogs built a 21–7 lead by the end of the first quarter on touchdowns from Gabe Decker and Caleb May. Williamsport briefly closed the gap with a scoring run from quarterback Tevin Williams, but Berwick controlled the tempo from there.

In the second quarter, Wilkerson added touchdown runs of 65 and 60 yards, while kicker Brayden Ungard kept Williamsport on the board with a pair of field goals. Berwick led 35–19 at halftime and then dominated the third quarter, outscoring the Millionaires 28–0.

Quarterback Brady Cleaver broke free for a 35-yard touchdown to start the second half, followed by Wilkerson’s runs of 32 and 45 yards. Sawyer Keller added a 5-yard score late in the third quarter to finish off the rout.

Berwick’s defense was equally impressive, holding Williamsport to just 93 rushing yards and forcing two interceptions. The Bulldogs’ front consistently pressured the quarterback, limiting the Millionaires’ offense after halftime.

The victory marked Berwick’s highest point total since 1997. Wilkerson’s performance set new program marks for rushing yards and touchdowns in a single game. Kicker Caleb Yost went 9-for-9 on extra points, highlighting a balanced and efficient effort.

Berwick (8-0) returns home next week to face Selinsgrove, while Williamsport (4-4) hosts Hollidaysburg.
