Delaware Valley continued its late-season surge Friday night, riding a dominant offensive performance to a 55–34 victory over Long Island Lutheran. Behind a huge ground effort from senior running back Mike Iuzzolino and a steady passing night from quarterback Colin McGarvey, the Warriors extended their winning streak to three games.

Iuzzolino was electric from the opening whistle, gashing the Crusaders’ defense for 211 rushing yards and four touchdowns. His blend of power and acceleration fueled Delaware Valley’s attack, which consistently controlled the tempo and field position throughout the night.

McGarvey complemented the ground game with precision through the air, throwing for 200 yards and two touchdowns as the Warriors’ offense proved nearly unstoppable. Delaware Valley built a multi-score lead by halftime and never looked back, answering each Long Island Lutheran push with another big play of their own.

The offensive line set the tone, clearing lanes for Iuzzolino and giving McGarvey time to find open receivers downfield. Delaware Valley’s balance kept Long Island Lutheran off balance all night, with several drives capped by explosive runs and well-timed play-action strikes.

With the win, Delaware Valley improved to 3-4 overall, and will host Valley View on Friday night. The Warriors’ offense has found its rhythm at the right time, averaging more than 45 points per game during their recent run — a sign of confidence and momentum heading into the postseason.
