SHAMOKIN 49, LAKE-LEHMAN 7

Shamokin delivered a dominant performance in front of a home crowd, steamrolling Lake‑Lehman 49–7 in a commanding non‑league victory to open the season.

The Indians wasted no time taking control. A turnover on the opening kickoff gave them early momentum, and they didn’t look back. By halftime, Shamokin had already posted seven unanswered touchdowns, building an insurmountable lead.

Quarterback Logan Steele was the star of the first two quarters, accounting for four of the touchdowns. His highlight reel opened with a 61-yard rushing score, followed soon after by an even more explosive 89-yard touchdown run. Steele also connected beautifully on a touchdown fade to Colin Steinhart, showcasing his versatility.

Running back Zakem Clinton added two more rushing touchdowns, while Jayce Ginck punched in another, giving Shamokin an overwhelming halftime advantage.

Lake‑Lehman managed to get on the board in the fourth quarter with a touchdown run by Coldyn Harris, avoiding a shutout—but it did little to slow Shamokin’s momentum.
