Jersey Shore made a statement on the road, surviving a furious rally from Delaware Valley to emerge with a 49–42 victory in a roller‑coaster non‑league tilt that showcased big plays and even bigger heart.

Jersey Shore struck quickly, building a 28–14 halftime lead behind a relentless rushing attack and efficient execution. By the middle of the third quarter, the Bulldogs had dialed up the pressure, pushing the margin to 42–14.

But Delaware Valley wouldn’t go quietly. The Warriors responded with a 21‑point run, fueled by a power-packed ground game led by QB Colin McGarvey, RB Mike Iuzzlino, and fullback Justin Estevez, cutting the deficit to one score late.

With less than two minutes on the clock and Delaware Valley in range of a game‑tying score, safety‑turned‑quarterback Nolan Pauling delivered a clutch strip‑tackle on star receiver Trey Newton, forcing a crucial fourth‑and‑long and preserving the Bulldogs’ lead. Jersey Shore then chewed the clock to close out the thriller.

Delaware Valley hits the road next Friday to take on Central York from District 3.
