WYOMING AREA 54, TUNKHANNOCK 13

Lidge Kellum and Trustin Johnson each scored two first-half touchdowns while Anthony DeLucca turned his only two pass attempts into touchdowns as Wyoming Area ripped host Tunkhannock, 54-13, in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 game.

On a night when Wyoming Area averaged more than 20 yards per play, Kellum carried three times for 103 yards. He scored on 40- and 50-yard runs in the first quarter.

DeLucca opened the scoring with a 65-yard pass to Kevin Wiedl and also hit Luke Kopetchny with a 26-yarder in the first quarter.

The Warriors led 28-0 after one quarter and 48-0 at halftime.

Trustin Johnson scored on a 51-yard run and a 48-yard punt return in the second quarter before Michael Crane closed the first-half scoring with an 8-yard run.

Freshman Lucas Ciprich scored the two Tunkhannock touchdowns by running 2 yards in the third quarter and advancing a teammates fumble 12 yards in the fourth.

The Tunkhannock scores were sandwiched around a 4-yard touchdown run by Wyoming Area’s Oliver Bolin.

Wyoming Area (4-1, 1-0) continues league play at home against Berwick.  Tunkhannock (1-4, 0-2) will take on Hanover Area at Wilkes-Barre Area Stadium next Friday.
