Ty’Meere Wilkerson carried 19 times for 301 yards and four touchdowns Friday night to lead Berwick to a 55-6 rout of Tunkhannock in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2 game to wrap up the regular season.
Wilkerson surpassed 300 yards for the second time in three yards and the 250-yard mark for the third straight times.
Berwick used a 456-yard ground game to open a 55-0 lead.
The Bulldogs (4-6 overall, 3-2 in Division 2) got touchdown runs of 1 and 67 yards in the first quarter, 86 yards late in the first half and 55 yards in the third quarter from Wilkerson.
Lineman Chase Shuckers got a chance to carry the ball and scored from the 1 in the first quarter.
Ashton Smith hit Billy Hanson with a 61-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.
Everett Snyder returned an interception 30 yards for a score in the third quarter.
Gavin Galutia ran 65 yards for the fourth-quarter touchdown.
Tunkhannock’s Lucas Ciprich broke the shutout on a 5-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Both teams are headed to the District 2 Class 3A quarterfinals.
Berwick is likely to be at second-seeded Western Wayne (9-1). Tunkhannock (3-7, 1-4) will draw a game at top-seed and defending champion Scranton Prep (9-1).
