SCRANTON 31, WALLENPAUPACK 7
Memphis Shotto scored two touchdowns – one on offense and one on defense – to help Scranton snap a two-game losing streak as they defeated Wallenpaupack 31-7.
After a scoreless first quarter, Logan Caruso scored for Wallenpaupack to take a 7-0.
Scranton would tie the game when Shotto scored on a 74-yard touchdown pass from Brody Coyle.
Three plays later, Shotto scooped up a Paupack fumble and ran it back 32 yards for a 14-7 lead.
Jorge Rodriguez would kick a 35-yd field goal before halftime for a 17-7 lead.
The Knights would shut the Buckhorns down the rest of the way.
Scranton would add two fourth quarter touchdowns on long run. Coyle ran for a 23-yard t0uchdown and Reece Whitman would score on a 57-yard touchdown run to finish the scoring.
Scranton (5-2 overall, 1-2) will travel to North Pocono next Friday while Wallenpaupack (3-4, 1-3) will travel to Abington Heights on Thursday night.
