Marian Catholic used a strong defensive effort to hand coach Billy O’Gurek a victory in his debut, a 35-0 triumph over visiting Hanover Area in a Friday football opener.
The Colts scored in every game and their defense held the Hawkeyes to minus-32 rushing yards.
Rory Dixon got started to another possible 1,000-yard rushing season for Marian Catholic. He ran for 191 yards and a touchdown.
Rocco Griguoli scored on a 78-yard touchdown pass from Dylan Rodino, who also ran for a score.
