2025 PREVIEW

After a mixture of junior varsity and varsity games in 2022 and eight- and seven-game schedules the past two seasons, the Meteors return to a full, 10-game schedule this season.

Senior tight end/defensive end Nate Thurman and junior quarterback/safety Weston Nabywaniec are the team’s only returning two-way starters.

The Meteors do return three of their five offensive line starters, center Ethan Smith, guard Corey Anderson and tackle Jacob Susz. Smith and Susz are both juniors from Elk Lake, which is part of a cooperative sponsorship of the sport.

Sophomore Cason Petrak, the coach’s son, takes over at fullback. Sophomore Tim David and freshman Liam McNamee are halfbacks.

Evan McComb and Brian Dixon are wide receivers.

Cason Petrak returns to the starting defense as a linebacker. Theisen Hollenbeck returns at corner.

Jeremy Henry, a senior who is new to the team, and freshman Julian Repchick will be part of the interior defensive front. Brayden Heaton is an end and Dixon is in the secondary.

QUOTE FROM COACH PETRAK: We’re excited about the guys we bring back and those new guys we bring up from junior high.
