2025 PREVIEW
It’s been a couple of down years for the normally contending Lakeland program. A combination of young rosters and injuries has limited the Chiefs to four wins over the past two seasons. However, there is optimism at Chapman Lake that this year will be different and the program is pointing upward.
David Naniewicz is one of the most experienced returning quarterbacks in the LFC, throwing for over 1,000 yards and almost running for 500 last season. Rocco Spataro brings a different dimension to the position and will be used there as well. Caden Cuozzo and Gavin Roberts are both back after getting time at running back. Evan Lonzinski and Spataro will also be used in the run game. Chase Rosenkrans, Luke Mcfarland, Jackson Pochas, and Roberts are all experienced receivers. Kody Miller returns at tight end with Dylan Loomis his primary backup.
Three offensive linemen are back including left tackle Cole Hastings and right tackle Weston Loomis. Austin Tuttle started at guard last season. Either Cole Loomis, Cody Jones, Morgan Naniewicz, or Jacob Warholic will be the center. Noah Dietrich, Ben Supeck, and Ben Gross will compete for the other guard position.
Naniewicz and Miller return as the starting defensive ends with Dietrich and Hastings as the backups. Weston Loomis is a returning starter in the interior and Hastings, Tuttle and Cole Loomis will be rotated up front. Spataro moves to outside backer from the secondary and will be joined by McFarland or Nathan Boyarsky. Dylan Loomis and Caden Cuozzo return at inside linebacker with Evan Lonzinski and Mason Mushel providing depth. The whole secondary returns with Rosenkrans and Pochas at the corners and Roberts at safety. Jacob Passiment and Matt Pritchyk will provide depth.
Nicholas Janosky will take over the kicking duties.

We are excited to see what the 2025 version of the Chiefs will be. We have many players who have played a significant number of games over the last two years, and that should help create a competitive environment in the locker room.
