2025 PREVIEW
The Mountaineers repeated as division champions last season and came within a half of repeating as district champions. While Dallas must replace much of its offensive production, the expectations remain the same as always: compete for division and district titles.
Graduation took away several of the team’s offensive stars from recent years, but the Geskey family will continue to play a key role. Logan Geskey, a returning starter at wide receiver, is expected to emerge as an even bigger playmaker. His brother, Talan Geskey, is one of the candidates to start at quarterback, along with Brady McCann and Jimmy Youngblood. Nico Wilk should see time at running back, while Owen Oldt, Hunter Pitcavage, Trevor Slavinski, Kenny Martin, and Luca Pietraccini are in the mix to fill the tailback and fullback spots. Joining Logan Geskey at receiver are experienced targets Sam Kelley and Tyce Mason, with Bobby Gallagher, Connor Healey, Luke Kostick, and Charlie Stephens adding depth. Colten Van Orden returns at tight end, with Travis Cheskiewitz, Brady Ecenrode, and Pietraccini also in contention for snaps.
For the first time in several seasons, Dallas brings back multiple offensive linemen. Returning starters include tackle Jake Bryk and guards Cole Langdon and Alex Seymour. Drew Klinetob, Matt Sevenski, and Tyler Spaciano will compete for the center job. Logan Faulkner, Spaciano, Ecenrode, Grant Gauntlett, Eric Kuzma, and Aiden Romanoski are also in consideration for roles up front.
Defensively, the line will feature new faces. Bryk, Ecenrode, Faulkner, Romanoski, Seymour, and Moore are candidates at defensive end, while Klinetob, Langdon, Sevenski, Spaciano, and Julio Torres will compete for time at defensive tackle. Van Orden returns as a starter at outside linebacker, with Cheskiewitz, Gauntlett, Talan Geskey, and Pietraccini in the mix for the other side. Wilk returns at inside linebacker, joined by Pitcavage, who started on the defensive line last season. Moran, Martin, and Youngblood will provide depth. In the secondary, Logan Geskey returns at cornerback, with Healey, Gallagher, Kostick, Mason, and Stephens competing for the other side. Kelley is back at safety, while McCann, Oldt, and Slavinski will battle for the second spot.
On special teams, Brandon Miller and David Worth will compete for the kicking and punting duties. Multiple players are being considered for the long snapper role.

Defense: As always, being able to communicate across the front and secondary on every play, helps us get aligned quickly and play fast. If we build on our summer progress on these fundamentals and stay healthy this can be the most playable depth we’ve had in eleven years. Offense: The returning offensive starters must take pressure off of a new starting QB and two new starters in the O Line. As on defense, if we build on our summer progress and stay healthy, this can be the most playable depth we’ve had in eleven years.
