Here are the 2023 NPF WVC Division 2 All-Stars. The list is compiled by feedback from the division coaches and NPF Staff. We have added a division MVP which exemplifies a player who makes the biggest contribitions on both sides of the ball.

Aaron Crossley, Sr. – Wyoming Area
There is a little doubt Crossley was the best overall player in the division. The film and numbers are evident. Add the fact he is a Division I recruit (Lehigh) which solidifies that notion. The Warriors would not be the same team without him as witnessed in the district semfinal. He rushed for 1,842 yards and 26 touchdowns in 2023.   For his career, he rushed for over 4,500 and 56 touchdowns. On defense, Crossley recorded 46 tackles including 10.5 tackles for loss from his linebacker position this past season.

Zack Fox, Sr. – Nanticoke
Fox will leave Nanticoke as the program’s all-time leading rusher. For the last several years, he has been the main part of the offense running behind a big offensive line. For 2023, he ran for 1,884 yards and 25 touchdowns. Fox showed bursts of speed through the hole, but also was physical his senior season. The Trojans were able to ride him on offense despite losing their quarterback at the beginning of the season and able to develop a passing game. He ended up with over 4,500 career rushing yards.

Jaidyn Johnson, Sr. – Nanticoke
The improvement for Johnson from last year was noticeable. The effort on film was as well. He put up monster numbers and leaves the Trojans program with a record 60 career sacks, including 25 this season. He had 80 total tackles and knocked down five passes. Johnson was also impactful on special teams with six blocked punts on the season. He possesses great size which allowed him to be physical as a defender and also as a blocker at the tight end position.

Ryan Wiaterowski, Sr. – Nanticoke

A staple on the Nanticoke front lines for the past four years, Wiaterowski was able to lead the way for one of the better running games in the WVC. The Trojans ran for 2,800 yards in 2023 and the senior tackle would even line up in the backfield as a fullback. In fact, he had 30 carries for 116 yards and seven rushing touchdown. Wiaterowski was also clogging up the middle of the line of scrimmage on defense as run-stopper, freeing up teammates to make plays.

Randy Spencer  – Wyoming Area
After a down season in 2022 that saw the Warriors moved up to Class 4A and sporting a young roster, they bounced back in 2023 to win the division and a district playoff game. Coach Spencer continues to run one of the best programs in NEPA as they finished unbeaten in the regular season against District 2 teams. The culture is a big reason why Wyoming Area is competitive each season and the head coach sets the tone for the program surrounding himself with quality assistants and having things done the right way during the season and the off-season.
