Every week, we will highlight some of the best linemen from the WVC and LFC presented by Honesdale National Bank. Here is Week 8:

JACOB ALBAUGH, Delaware Valley
The senior two-way lineman is a powerful and athletic player who helped Delaware Valley gain393 total yards against one of the best defenses in the LFC. Albaugh added three tackles on defense.

ALEX CASTELLANOS, Lackawanna Trail
Castellanos has been on of Trail’s most consistent offensive lineman helping the Lions to a powerful running game. He also has been good on defense, clogging the middle of the line of scrimmage. This past Friday, he recovered a blocked punt in the end zone for a touchdown.

Conte has been a force on the defensive line for the Bucks. Last Friday, he collected a season-high seven tackles, one tackle for loss and a quarterback sack.  He also is an excellent blocker as the Dunmore tight end.

Nobody has stopped the Warriors running game and DeSanto has been a major reason why. The junior is big and strong, but also has excellent technique which has colleges already looking at him. He also is very good in pass protection

KYLE SHEA, West Scranton
Shea has carried the load for the Invaders up front as a leader on both sides of the football. As the left tackle, West rushed for 247 yards in the win over Lakeland. He also plays defensive end and is a key run stopper as well as pass rusher.
