Every week, we will highlight some of the best linemen from the WVC and LFC presented by Honesdale National Bank. Here is Week 6:

CARTER FAUBEL, Delaware Valley
Faubel received recognition last season and has picked up right where he left off. He has been a force on both sides of the football. On offense, the junior helped the Warriors rush for 300 yards while on defense he helped stuff the run and had three tackles.

NYEEM GONZALEZ, Scranton Prep
The Prep offense has been outstanding in 2023 and Gonzalez has been the anchor on the offensive line. Last Friday, he helped the Cavaliers rack up 386 yards of total offense. He is a powerful run blocker and is very good in pass protection.

COOPER PATTERSON, Lackawanna Trail
A breakthrough season as a freshman last season, Patterson has settled on as a dominating force up front for the Lions. Trail ended up with 370 yards of offense and the sophomore led the way as a run blocker. He also added three tackles and a tackle-for-loss on defense while only playing in the first half.

ANDREW STEINBERGER, Wyoming Area
The Warriors offensive line is big and strong and Steinberger is one cog of that machine. Helped Wyoming Area remain unbeaten and the offense rush for 334 yards and 5 TDs against a very physical Scranton team. He added a pancake block during the game.

NICK TULLIO, Dunmore
Dunmore’s dominating win this past Friday was because the players up front dominated and Tullio was one of the best blockers of the game. The center led the way as the Bucks rushed for 397 yards and were the more physical team in the division opener.
