Every week, we will highlight some of the best linemen from the WVC and LFC presented by Honesdale National Bank. Here is Week 5:
CALEB BRYANT, Honesdale
The senior has been a key member of the Honesdale offensive line all season long. Last Friday, Bryant was graded the best offensive lineman for the Hornets as they amassed 390 total yards of offense and earned their first win of the 2023 season.
JAMES GRYSKEWICZ, Wilkes-Barre
The Wolfpack offense is coming alive and the offensive line has improved since the beginning of the season. Gryskewsicz is physical and his technique is very good in pass protection. The Wolfpack threw for over 200 yards this past week and he helped give the quarterback plenty of time to find open receivers.
BRADY ROSENCRANS, Dallas
A two-way starter this season, Rosencrans has been a big reason the Mountaineers have been the most impressive team in the WVC through the first half of the season. The line has been good in the run game and outstanding in pass protection. The senior has been strong in both of those phases.
LOGAN SMITH, Valley View
Smith has been a mauler on the Cougars offensive line. A returning starter, he has gotten even more physical and leads the team in pancakes. Valley View rushed for over 300 yards last week and 400 total yards of offense.
RYAN WIATEROWSKI, Nanticoke
Wiaterowski’s skill on the offensive line is well-documented but he took it up another level this past Friday. He rushed for two touchdowns being used as a fullback and also had an interception on defense to help the Trojans to their second win.
