Every week, we will highlight some of the best special teams performances from the WVC and LFC presented by Figliomeni Pharmacy Care. Here is Week 6:

 

CHRIS CHANDLER, Scranton
Chandler blocked a punt to set up score that broke scoreless tie in second quarter. He had three tackles and an assist as the outside coverage man on the kickoff team. His stops were at 17, 18, 25 and 31. Led coverage team that limited WA to 49 yards on 7 returns.


NICK D’AMICO, Riverside
D’Amico made a 32-yard field goal to start the scoring for the Vikings on Friday. He would go on to make all seven of his PAT attempts as Riverside won their division opener against Carbondale.


BO SHEPTOCK, Berwick
Sheptock has been a nightmare for opposing special teams coaches and that proved to be true once again this past Friday. The speedy sophomore returned a punt 42 yards for a touchdown in the win over Valley West.


Honorable Mention: Jamaire Harden, Williamsport – 86-yard kickoff return TD; PK Max Hunt, Dunmore -31-yd field goal, 4 extra points; PK Raymond Rinaldi, Scranton Prep – 30-yd field goal, 5 extra points.
