Here are the 2021 WVC 3A All-Stars presented by Motorworld. The list is compiled by feedback from the division coaches and NPF Staff.

OFFENSE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Justice Shoats, Sr. – Holy Redeemer
One thing we have learned about Shoats is he is pretty good at any sport he has played. Already a standout in basketball and state champion in track, he was back playing football for the first time since middle school. He led the WVC in receving yards (818) and receiving touchdowns (12). He also returned a kickoff, punt and fumble for a touchdown. Although Shoats played in a pass-happy offense that didn’t have a lot of success in the win column, one WVC coached remarked he would have been good in any program in the conference.

DEFENSE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Rocco Pizano, Sr. – Wyoming Area
Pizano stats might not stand out on defense, but his presence in the Warrior secondary was evident by what opposing offenses did – throw away from him. One of the best overall playmakers on both sides of the ball, Pizano was a leader on the best defense in the division. He ended the season with 23 tackles and 3 interceptions for Wyoming Area.

LINEMAN OF THE YEAR
Nick Elko, Sr. – Wyoming Area

Elko takes home this award for the second straight season. He has been a dominant force on both sides of the ball for the Warriors and has been instrumental in his team’s success. A four-year starter, Wyoming Area has produced a 50-7 record including a state championship with Elko in the trenches. On offense, he recorded 31 pancake blocks and defensively he had 57 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 6 quarterback hurries, 1 interception and 1 forced fumble.

COACH OF THE YEAR
Randy Spencer  – Wyoming Area
The Warriors returned to the District 2 Class 3A championship game and were crowned the WVC 3A champions in a season that saw them lose only two games to state-ranked opponents. Coach Spencer has added on to an already tradition-rich program and made it even better. His teams are fundmentally sound and the Xs and Os help Wyoming Area win football games.
