Here are the 2021 LFC Division I All-Stars presented by Motorworld. The list is compiled by feedback from the division coaches and NPF Staff.

OFFENSE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
William Soma, Sr. – North Pocono
Soma helped the Trojans to their best season since 2016 and led them to District 2 Class 4A championship game appearance. The senior quarterback rushed for 422 yards and 7 touchdowns while accumulating 1,107 yards passing yards (10th in District 2) and 14 touchdown passes (7th in District 2). Soma was a team-captain and also a standout saftey for the Trojans defense.

DEFENSE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
T.J. Schmalze, Sr. – Wallenpaupack
Schmalze was lauded by opposing coaches as the best defensive player on the field in most game as the senior finishes up a successful career on both sides of the football. On defense, he led the Buckhorns in tackles with 101 tackles, 5 tackles for loss and 2 interceptions. It was his cover skills that stood out the most as opposing teams avoided him in the passing game. Schmalze also caught 48 passes for 884 yards (led District 2) and 12 touchdown receptions. He also had a kickoff return for a touchdown.

LINEMAN OF THE YEAR
Gabe Tidgridge, Sr. – Delaware Valley

Tidridge continues the Delaware Valley dominance up front as the Warriors won another District 2 title. He helped lead the way on offense at center paving the way for a 1,000 yard rusher and another back running for 716 yards. His pass protection also allowed the Warriors to throw for over 1,300 yards. On defense, Tidridge had 56 tackles and 4 sacks. He also had two interceptions from his down lineman position.

COACH OF THE YEAR
Greg Dohlon – North Pocono
The expectations weren’t high for North Pocono but the Trojans ended up winning 10 games including a road upset of No. 2 seed Dallas in the District 2 Class 4A semifinal. Even though they came up short for the division and district titles, Coach Dohlon had North Pocono play at a higher level than most expected.
