2020 PREVIEW
After a disappointing 2018 season, Ryan Arcangeli took over the Crestwood program last year and took the Comets to the playoffs and won a playoff game in his first season. With a good nucleus returning, Crestwood is hoping to compete with the leaders in the WVC and Class 4A.
The Comets are excited to have back quarterback Ryan Petrosky who threw for 1,376 yards. Ryan Harding will lead the running game as the fullback for new tailbacks Jimmy Hawley and Kaleb Benjamin. Brenden DeMarzo is a returing starter at wide receiver and will be joined by Nick Kreuzer and Paul Feisal. Logan Arnold is the new tight end for the Comets.
Matt Dean and John Jones are returning starters on the offensive line. Aiden Jardine, Zack Snyder and Chris Smolenak are the three other starters.
Dean and Harding will be the leaders on the defensive line along with new starters Wyatt Urbanovich and Benjamin. The linebacker unit is one of the strongest in the WVC with all three starters returning – Cole Kakalecik, Harding and Arnold. Ethan Stoltz and DeMarzo are the veterans in the secondary while Petrosky, Marcus Vieney and Noah Schultz will fill the other positions.
Alex Romanoski is the new kicker and Ethan Shudak takes over the punting duties.
